Head of Senior School
With a background in Pure Mathematics, including degrees from Oxford and Cambridge Universities and a Ph.D. from Toronto University, I have always enjoyed studying and attained to the highest academic standards. It is my hope that every student at St George's can equally enjoy their learning and surprise themselves with their own progress. I am convinced that the deepest and most thorough academic progress is attained through core skill development and in conjunction with development of character and attitude in sports and the arts. At St George's we value the contribution of every member of the learning community and actively encourage students to develop their own sense of identity and share their culture, heritage and story as we learn together. Student leave St George's prepared to apply academic skills to real world issues and are ready for success at University and beyond.
Head of Boarding
As Head of Boarding at St. George’s it is my responsibility to ensure that every student under our roof feels part of the family and fully supported while in our care. It is a big responsibility, but with it comes innumerable rewards. Having spent my school years as a boarder myself in England, I am convinced by the benefits a rich boarding experience brings and we are fortunate to be able to offer this in the stunning and safe environment of Clarens, nestled among the Alps on the shores of Lake Geneva. I have worked in boarding schools in England, Germany and Switzerland and I have loved every minute of it. Playing such a key role in educating boarders at a crucial time of their lives – their formative years - is a unique privilege and incredibly rewarding, and my team and I dedicate ourselves to helping each boarder be the best they can be. I am married to Mrs. Carver, I have two daughters at the school and when time allows, I enjoy The Great Outdoors, travelling, reading and skiing.
Head of admissions
Born in Italy from Chinese parents, after high school education I decided to start a new journey in Switzerland, where I graduated from Hospitality and Tourism Management.
My cultural background contributed to the development of my career and the passion for the education industry further grows. On my 6th year at St. George’s it is a continuous learning journey allowing me to meet families and colleagues from all over the world.
